| The BBC has been busy on the Isle of Arran all this week, preparing a piece on the island for their Sunday morning Countryfile programme. Amongst topics they'll be covering are the housing crisis on the island and Northend Thistle football team; dubbed perhaps unfairly 'The worst football team in Scotland.' Tonight instead sees the March meeting of the East Kintyre Community Council. This will be held in the village hall at 7pm, and all members of the public are invited to attend. No doubt parking and the state of the B842 will be hot topics. |
