It's anybody's guess what the weather is going to do from one day to the next at the moment, but today you could be forgiven for believing that Spring she is well and truly Sprung in Carradale.
The field behind our house is fast filling up with newborn lambs, the trees and bushes are alive with bird-song, and everywhere you look there are Snowdrops, Daffodils and Crocuses blooming.
That being said, it'll probably snow tomorrow! |
Meanwhile there's a Whist Drive in the village hall this Friday, 9 March 2007, at 7:30pm.
In a few weeks time there's to be a Car Boot/Table Top sale, also at the village hall. This will be on Saturday, 14 April 2007, from 1pm. Sellers pay £6 per pitch and buyers 50p admission.
In addition to the many bargains that will no doubt be on offer there will also be soup and sandwiches, tea & coffee, soft drinks, and a raffle. Contact Edna on Carradale 363 to book your pitch. |
