06-02-07 More Brass Monkeys
As we slide into February we've been treated to some spectacular sunrises but the equally clear nights bring stunning views of the Moon and stars, but also hard frosts and chilly days.

Today was no exception with crystal clear air making for great views across the Kilbrannan Sound to Arran, Ailsa craig, and the distant Ayrshire shore.

There's plenty of wildlife about during this cold spell. Aside from the garden birds that I can watch from my office window I also saw this Buzzard hunting for his lunch, and this Red-Breasted Merganser which flew in and landed right in front of me whilst walking at Waterfoot this afternoon.
