05-12-04 Am-Dram and Sunday Golf

The general concensus is that last night's Carradale Drama Club production was a bit of a lemon, when compared to last year's event. I'm only speaking from hearsay here as I was marooned at home with baby-sitting duties. A general lack of preparedness together with almost non-existent rehearsal time may have had something to do with this.

Meanwhile the morning after dawned bright and sunny warranting a family walk across the golf course to Aird's Castle then back along the beach. Surprisingly there wasn't a golfer to be seen on this gloriously sunny yet slightly chilly morning. Views across to Arran and back across Kintyre re-inforce the opinion that Carradale Golf Club is one of the most scenically situated clubs in Britain.
