One of CARRADALE ABBEYFIELDS present longest stay resident Miss Evie Strath celebrated her 99 birthday on the 24th February with fellow residents,staff and friends.Whilst everyone was chatting away and listening to Alec playing the accordian ther was a unexpected guest arrived at the door looking for Ms Strath.And what a surprise it was to Evie,it was her late friend Mary's grandaughter Linda who had been travelling in the area unknown that it was her birthday on the day popping in to see her.Linda's granny was Evie' house keeper for many years when they stayed at Brig of Turk.Linda along with her partner stayed on and joined in with the party celebrations.
