05-02-09 White Out This Morning

Heavy fall of snow reaches Carradale.

Locals in the west side of Carradale and parts of Kintyre wakened this morning to find the place covered with about 2 or 3 inches 0f snow.
The east side of the village had very little with none at the pier and up the coastline.
Some vehicles got stuck on the road to Campbeltown, but thankfully the road gritting squad were quickly on scene and the road was made passable.

tis a fine looking vessel that is in pic. no.2. I hear that her former owner was a fine upstanding chentleman who had aal his agility aboout him?
