Helicopter lands in Carradale Primary School grounds.

A bit of excitement last month when HELIMED 5 landed to airlift a local person to a Glasgow hospital.

Thankfully that person is now back in Carradale after treatment and recovering well at home.The air ambulance service is a godsend to rural areas to get sick people to hospital quickly, a trip of about 20 to 30 minutes to Glasgow from here depending on weather conditions.
