04-08-06 Dolphins in the Bay
We had a pod of dolphins visit Carradale Bay yesterday afternoon, providing a spectacle for the people on the beach or swimming in the water.

A small group of roughly six or eight dolphins came into the Bay and spent a fair while swimming in the shallow waters

Friends in their sailing boat described how the dolphins followed them, circling the boat and swimming beneath it, as they returned to Waterfoot.

After visiting Carradale the dolphins swam south and could be seen from the jetty at Torrisdale as they headed down the Kilbrannan Sound.

This morning's weather is damp and dreary but we're hoping it will improve by this afternoon, in time for the Harbour Open Evening.
The fun starts at 5pm on Carradale Pier.
