04-01-09 Quiet After The Festivities
Making the best of the good weather.
It was a cold calm day that we took a stroll over the north east side of Kirnashie Hill, you enter at the Brackley road junction turning up to the right and follow the track.
New sections of road have been made to extract the wood so you can take your pick on any direction you wish to walk within reason. Most of the timber here has recently been felled and views of the Kilbrannan Sound and Arran can be seen though a bit hazy.

Speaking of trees, noticed this small plaque on a tree within the Carradale Church grounds. Inscription 1966 "ALEX"CHRIS"ALWAYS". Anyone any story to this?
