The children's lantern parade was a bit of a disappointment after all the hard work they'd been to. The rain kept putting the lanterns out and soaked the paper.
Upon arriving up at the Wellpark Field the bonfire was well alight, blasting out heat that helped keep the wet weather at bay. Hotdogs, burgers, soup and tea/coffee were available form the pavillion and these too helped combat the inclement condiitons.
The fireworks were excellent, as per usual, and a selection of photos can be found in the Gallery section of the website.
