Regulars to the Waterfoot end of the village may have noticed that a Heron has taken up residence in the field behind the stables.
Often seen stalking the brook down to through the meadow to the river, this is a fine-looking bird although perhaps less well thought of by anyone who has lost expensive fish from garden ponds to Herons in the past.

Whilst we're on the subject of animals, I thought I'd introduce our three family cats.
They are, from left to right: Spice, Lenin, and Rossi.
This is one of the few times they can all be seen together at the same time.
