	Bonfire Night celebrations are taking place in Carradale this week with a fireworks display at the Wellpark on Friday, 4 November 2005. There'll be a Lantern Procession and Piper at 6:15pm with the fireworks following at 6:45pm. Also available on the night will be burgers, hotdogs, soup, baked potatoes and other refreshments to help keep out the Autumn chill.
	Meanwhile weather conditions here on East Kintyre have been changeable with strong winds, heavy rain, brooding skies, and brilliant sunshine at almost every turn of the clock. This photo shows Carradale Beach at the weekend being lashed with waves and smothered with foam.
