	Visitors to Carradale came across this curiously marked stone on the shoreline at Dippen Bay recently. A trawl of the RCAHMS Archive reveals it was first recorded in 1997 but no-one I've spoken to locally was aware of its existence. Chris, who sent in the photos, hails from my own neck of the woods in Northamptonshire. In fact we grew up just a few miles from each other. It's a small world.
