| It is with a great deal of sadness that we report the death of Duncan Ritchie at the weekend, following a period of ill health. Duncan was a well-liked and respected figure about the village. Quick of wit and possessed of a great wealth of knowledge and experience which he was always happy to share. A founding member of Carradale Camera Club, a selection of his photos featured in the Club's recent exhibition, and he rarely missed the opportunity to get an interesting shot. Our thoughts go out his daughter, Christine, and his many family and friends. The funeral will take place in the village church on Thursday, 4 September 2008 at 1pm followed by burial at Brackley cemetary. |
