New ballot papers started dropping through our letterboxes again this morning. These are to replace the ones sent out earlier by Argyll & Bute Council and which did not have all of the candidate's names listed.
The new ballot papers correctly list all nine candidates: Ronald C Brownie, John Durnan, Shelagh Galbraith, Brian E Gee, John S Irvine, Matthew McMillan, Alen M Oman, Geoffrey F Page, and Lachlan Paterson.
We can vote for UP TO FIVE candidates but no more than that. The deadline for returning the ballot papers has also been extended, in line with A&B Council's earlier gaff, to 14 April 2005.
Today's edition of the Campbeltown Courier carries an interesting report of a man who claims to have seen a UFO above the Rest And Be Thankful. Methinks the Courier is taking note of today's date and kidding us along a bit. | ![[New Ballot Papers]](../clips/ballot2.jpg) |
