The RNLI Shield, a 9 hole mixed greensome competition played annually at Carradale Golf Club, recently attracted 40 golfers, raising an excellent amount for the charity. The results are as follows:
1. Angus Neilson and Margaret Richardson nett 25.2
2. Ken Head and Marlene Walker nett 27
3. Lyndsay MacDonald and Margaret Campbell nett 27.4

Second report
One of Carradale Golf Club’s young members, Finlay Neilson aged 11, achieved a hole in one at the second at Dunaverty Golf Course recently. Finlay with a handicap of 26, is an exciting up and coming young player whose ability and maturity are impressive.
