30-10-05 Clearing the Way
East Kintyre Community Council have been given a grant of £150 by East Kintyre Windfarm Trust to cover the cost of clearing some of the footpaths around and about Carradale. If anyone is interested in carrying out any of this work please contact Ronnie Brownie by 5 November 2005:

1. Airds Village to High Airds
2. Hill 60 to High Airds
3. Port-na-Cull to the western end of High Airds
4. The eastern entrance to Wellpark
5. The forrestry road to the village hall (to the east of the Crow Wood path)
6. McDougall's Flume (Bottom end)
7. The east end of the Bay, across the bridge
8. Ballymeanach to Port-na-Cull

Incidentally, the next EKCC meeting will be on Thursday 3 November 2005 at 7pm, in the village hall.


[Marie Curie Cancer Care]On another matter Tarbert Gaelic Choir are to give a concert on the evening of Monday 7 November 2005 at 7:30pm, at the Wee Church (near the surgery) in Carradale.

Admission is free but there will be a collection for the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity. Refreshments will also be available.
