29-04-11 Swans At Waterfoot
The two resident swans at Waterfoot had two visitors dropping in on them last week which they took a dislike too.

I watched for 15 mins whilst the resident male swan chased the others away.They can be quite fearsome in defending their territories or partners which they have for life unless one of the other dies.

here is a couple of the many pics I took,they are magnificent birds to watch taking off or landing.
