28-07-05 Football Results
Carradale AFC's new football team played it's first match yesterday evening at the meadows in Campbeltown. Sadly they lost 4-2 to Campbeltown G.S.

A win would have been nice but that's a very respectable score for a team that have only recently begun playing together regularly, and we're all hoping for better results as the season progresses. Carradale's goals were scored by Jamie Robertson and Ranald Rixon.

Despite the optimistic weather forecast it's been raining steadily here for most of today. We can hardly complain though, given the gloriously sunny weather we've had this last week or more.

We've had family and friends staying and they arrived kitted-out for chilly weather and so were pleasantly surprised at how warm it's been. We've more friends coming to visit next week as well so hopefully they'll bring the sunshine with them.

Don't forget tomorrow night's RNLI BBQ at the harbour, from 5pm to 8pm. There's a competition to guess the time it will take the lifeboat to travel up from Campbeltown so get your entries in fast. There's a entry sheet in The Glen.
