![]() | A belated mention to say Donalds wife Betty passed away in April this year. My condolences for your loss Donald and hope you will return to the village again in the near future. Donald and Betty loved the Goat for keeping them up to date with the going's on in the village and for all the photos, some of which he contributed himself some years back. A wee message from Donald..... I've been coming to Carradale since 1938 and our first abode was with Cathie Brownie's mother at Airds. Lochpark was next for many years and we still keep up with Archie and Crystal. I introduced Betty to the village in 1979 and she fell in love with the place and the people. Our residences were Duncrannag with Margaret and Marie and eventually at Dunvalanree with John and Sue Pryor. In more recent times we have been lucky to have had the use of Anne Storm's home "Tigh na chnoc" above the harbour. Betty loved her golf and as a member of the club she was made to feel at home by the other ladies. The photo was taken in Anne's house two years ago in happier times. Donald. Thanks Donald and as your photo description say's.............a toast to us 2003. |
