23-05-10 Visitors Fly In To Carradale Bay
And what a splendid location they mentioned.

A bunch of flying enthusiasts dropped in on Carradale Bay on Sunday, three microlights and two fixed wing micro planes touched down on the beach and taxied over to the carpark end for a break.Brewing up a cuppa they chatted to the locals and visitors whom had a good look over the aircraft and equipement. They had come over from the Isle of Arran having stayed there overnight meeting up with a friend. They said the beach was a magnificient place and they would hope to return at a later date with making arrangements for landing again.I as usual had my camera on hand and was invited up for a flight in the blue and white Zenair aircraft by pilot Joe (and thanks Joe for the experiance) and got some ariel pics of the area, one shown of us just taking of with the caravan park below.

I'll pass on the pics to Colin at the caravan site. After packing up the aircraft took off one by one and did a fly past enroute to their next destination Ettrick Bay on Bute.First pic is the pilots with their Arran friend in the black teashirt.
