Just returned from some chores in Campbeltown were it was a lovely day. Driving up the B842 to Carradale you could see the blackness of the sky, went down to check the boats at Waterfoot and all of a sudden there was this almighty downpour,pic taken from the car.
It hammered down for some time followed by thunder and lighting.At home reports came in that the roads had suffered bad with the A83 blocked at Muasdale and further north on both sides of Tarbert.Check with the roads dept if you are travelling as there may be delays.
Update today Thursday.

My eldest daughter who lives in Largs has just informed me that her husband has had to take a detour of one and a half hours via Greenock-Linwood etc, to get to work in Dalry.
