22-07-06 A Night at the Races
[Race Night at The Glen]The outcome of the Stewards' Enquiry was that last night's Race Night at The Glen Bar was an overwhelming success, with residents and visitors turning out to enjoy an evening's horse racing.

MCs John McF and Jimmy T kept us all entertained betwixt races: auctioning horses, encouraging the punters, and handing out rosettes. Free fodder was available for all in the form of a delicious chicken curry, and a grand total of £580 was raised for football club funds.
