19-05-07 Auntie Beeb comes to Carradale
The weather's been a bit damp and dreary these last few days so it came as a pleasant surprise to see Carradale Bay featured this week on the BBC News website amongst the Best Beaches in Britain.

This was part of a feature whereby people from around Britain and the world could nominate their favourite beach, and Carradale was amongst those chosen. Carradale is photo 6.

On another subject entirely, a recent poster on the Website Guestboook reports that there is a ginger cat attacking other cats in the Woodside area of the village, and generally making a nuisance of itself, and asks whether this might be ours.

Unless our little Fidel has taken to catching the bus down to the other end of the village it's unlikely to be him (plus he's a little sweetie) but I'm told there is another ginger cat lives on Tormhor somewhere so maybe that's more likely to be the culprit.
