Celebrations at Carradale Surgery today as Dr Malcolm Elder marked 20 years as a GP in Carradale. A fabulous cake by Drumfearne Cakes was throughly enjoyed by the staff and patients attending afternoon appointments. The small dedicated Surgery team of 7 have a strong commitment to Carradale Surgery and impressively have clocked up OVER 100 YEARS at Carradale Surgery between them - Gail McIntosh (25 years), Dr Elder (20 years), Sue Stansfield (16 years), Jill Denton (14 years), Monica Gemmill (14 years), Eileen Black (9 years) and Tracey Muscroft (4 years). This is testament to the strong support by Carradale & Skipness communities and to the Surgery team.
Dr Elder moved to Kintyre in 1997 after over six years as a Partner in a very busy city centre practice in Aberdeen to fulfil his aim to be a remote and rural GP.
