As ballot papers start dropping through letterboxes in Carradale for the EKCC electrion due in early April voters may notice something odd about them.
There aren't enough names on them!
It seems someone at Argyll & Bute Council has made a cock-up and missed-off Lachie Paterson from the list of candidates. Whether the error originated at the council or the printers is immaterial as someone at A&B should surely have proof-read them before sending them out, or is that old fashioned thinking?
Presumably all of the ballot papers will now need to be recalled and re-printed, delaying the election and doubling it's cost to the taxpayer.
