It was a shocker today to arrive at the playpark.A notice of closed to the public and some of the reasons why may be evident in the photos.The once admired playpark notice board lay upside down on the ground,a sad sight to the day the park was opened back in my days as Community Council Chairman.Thinking of all the effort the then committee of Molly Marrable,Cheryl,Mary Ann,Jennifer,Audrey,sheila and the others put in to getting this up and running,the fundraising to get new equipement and so on.
Why has it got into this state? Many hours put into this project,thousands of pounds of equipement now needing attention or replaced.....Surely this needs to be addressed at the next EKCC meeting!!!

I would have thought after the EKCC meeting on Thursday night that this would have been updated with the facts about the state of the playpark???? I would like it brought to everybody's attention that the current state of the playpark is due to the fact that repairs were not carried out by the previous committee from letter dated 3rd July from Zurich Insurance Company and regretably this is one of the reasons that persons who put their names forward in November have now advised EKCC that they are no longer going to be acting on behalf of CAPP (Carradale Activity Play Park). I would therfore like your previous posting in regards to the playpark reworded to reflect forementioned point.
Ed note: Added your comments Scott and reason post was not updated after Thursday nights meeting,we went away for a few days.
