11-06-07 Weekend Scorcher
It's been another scorcher of a weekend in Carradale, starting with a great win by the football team on Friday evening.

Playing a friendly against Tarbert Athletic the Carradale team pulled-off a 5:3 victory, despite ferocious midges.

The Tarbert boys took it in good grace though, coming back to The Glen Bar afterwards for food and refreshments.


We got together on Saturday night at Grogport to celebrate Richard's 40th with superb food, drink and conversation.

Sunday afternoon was just perfect for a BBQ on the beach. It was the busiest I've seen it since the middle of last summer.

The mild breeze kept the midges away and we even had a visit from a small pod of dolphins, which was duly reported to our old friends at the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust.

And finally a quick 'Hello!' to Lise, a fan of the site who has now returned to her home in Melbourne, Australia. Hope to see you again next time you visit.
