10-11-08 Lanterns and Fireworks
Lantern parade and fireworks display in Carradale.

Ceri Strang took the lead piping the lantern parade up to the football field to the bonfire and fireworks display on Friday evening past.

Carradale playpark committee laid on soup, burgers, homebaking,juice etc at the pavilion for the hungry attendees.Robert Strang took charge of setting off the fireworks.
A good show was had by all before the rain came lashing down, no need to worry about extinguishing the bonfire later.

Thanks to all who contributed and the above for their part in this annual event,also Sheila Cameron and her assistants for helping the kids to make the lanterns.
