10-02-10 Pothole Brigade
The local roads department address the road situation.
Council workers were on the go yesterday Tuesday filling in the vast amount and some large potholes that are scattered all over our roads.
This will do on a very short term but really we need most of not all retarred and as the saying goes (in our dreams).
What the future holds on the state of the roads is a serious matter. Vast amounts of money will be needed to bring them up to a reasonable standard.
A petition is ongoing at this time on the B842 north of Carradale to bring it into the priority group for winter gritting and proper maintenance.
