Waterfoot got a bit of a flooding today,something I have not seen in my forty years in the village.Luckily the water level that did reach some of the properties was kept at bay with sandbags.Some gardens and sheds/garages were under water for some time.John the postie was caught of hand as within seconds the road flooded at Cala Fionn as he drove past and was unpassable minutes later with surges of water running along the road.Lots of debris was left behind when the tide receded.Not jumping to clear up as more was to come over the next few days.
