Hello Johnny,
I'm working on a project that hopes to develop a community action plan for
the East Kintyre area and I am looking for volunteers to get involved.
Already had a kick off meeting but looking for more people.
Could you put the attached poster on the Carradale Goat website?
Also if you want some extra information:
The South Kintyre Development Trust is facilitating the creation of a
community action plan in the East Kintyre area and we are looking to form
a representative group for the East Kintyre area to help develop these
plans. We would love to hear from anyone (young or old, new to the area or
born and bred local) who is interested.
There will be the opportunity to get involved in as much or as little of
the project as you see fit but as a minimum we would expect you to attend
meetings of the group. As part of the project there will be optional free
training in community development provided.
The aim is to put together a Community Action Plan that accurately
reflects community views and which can be used as a guide for local
community organisations in representing the community and in developing
the projects that matter most to local people.
Would you be interested in it yourself? Would be good to have you on board!
