05-04-05 Jetting-in for the Weekend

Thanks to Johnny for explaining what the helicopter has been up to. It turns out it belongs to a company who perform aerial surveying of the power lines, hence why it was buzzing up and down the glen.

After last week's misty weather it's turned much brighter and sunnier here on East Kintyre but the wind has been bitter at times.

We've visitors in the house this week as my mum and sister are here for a few days. They flew up to Glasgow on Sunday and I collected them from there. The last time either of them had been on a plane was more than forty years ago when they flew back from the Far East on a Bristol Britannia, so a modern jet was a bit of an eye-opener.
