HMS Cattistock (M31) in Campbeltown harbour. M31 is one of the Royal Navy's fleet of 13 Hunt class minesweepers and is remarkable in the fact that they are the world's largest GRP-built ships, at 685 tonnes. When not on minesweeping duties they are often seconded to fisheries protection and patrol duties. |
