The Kintyre Way is a new long distance footpath that runs the length of the Kintyre peninsula, from Tarbert in the north and all the way down to Southend, on the Mull of Kintyre.

A section of the walk passes through Carradale which makes it an ideal spot to stop for the night, have a meal, replenish your supplies, or to just take a break.

There is an excellent leaflet giving details of the walk, including route maps, which you can obtain from Tourist Information Offices and many other establishments.
