30-09-12 Support For Better Broadband In Rural Areas
This may be of interest to you or someone in your community:

Community Broadband Scotland is a new service being launched in October
2012. It will help kick-start community-led broadband projects in rural
communities.

Community Broadband Scotland will provide advice, guidance and project
funding to help communities deliver improved access to the intranet in
areas that will not be reached by the Scottish Government's core
investment programme which seeks to provide speeds of 40-80Mbps for 85-90%
of premises by 2015.
