|It's the start of a new week and very nearly the last day of May. Midsummer is just around the corner at at last the weather is starting to look like it might be playing ball.|
The midges are also getting peckish. The Glen has one of these midge-eating machines but it wasn't working. It took just a couple of minutes for the 'Midge Maestro' to diagnise the fault - a new AA battery was required - and it was back in action.
We'll be celebrating Mary's birthday in The Glen this evening. I'm warned there'll be live, impromptu entertainment. More on that tomorrow...
Don't forget this week's EKCC meeting in the village hall on Thursday at 7pm. This will be immediately followed by a Windfarm Trust meeting to decide which of the projects that have applied for a grant will actually receive anything from this tranch of funding.
