Meanwhile regular visitor to Carradale, Gordon Goldie from Refrew, has been showing off an unusual fish he caught just off the Bay.
He identifies it as a Long-spined Sea Scorpion and whilst not poisonous the spines do contain an anti-coagulant which means if you get spiked by one then it doesn't stop bleeding. Nasty.
It was sufficiently unusual that the BBC Website decided to feature it too. (Picture 5)
