Carradale Harbour in 1980 showing the numerous fishing boats that worked out of Carradale at the time.

A view of Carradale East showing the bungalows and other houses on the road down to the harbour.

Looking back towards the harbour from the end of the Shore Road, Carradale.

A view of Port Righ taken from the hillside above Dunvalanree Hotel.

The Sunadale Inn. This is just to the north of Grogport which falls into the general area of Carradale. This same picture featured in the Campbeltown Courier a while ago and there is occasional discussion as to just when it ceased to be an inn. It is now a private house occupied by two of my friends.

This old postcard shows several views of Carradale and the immediate surrounds. Of particular note is the Carradale Hotel and the old pier with the Dalriada just pulling away.

This is a view of Portrigh taken from the golf course at Carradale. The property at the far left is Dunvalanree Hotel.

Carradale AFC from around 1985. The football club has recently been re-formed and plans to have its first match during the summer holidays.

The cottages at Waterfoot, circa 1906. Anyone recognise the chap rowing the boat? Apart from the frames this view is little changed today.

This is an enlargement of the rowing boat. You can almost make out the name on the stern, but not quite. Jog anyone's memories?
